Thank You Greeting Cards – Testimonials

When we were young, our parents taught us to mind our Ps and Qs. In other words, we were reminded to always be on our best behaviour and to mind our manners. What comes to mind are the numerous Christmas greeting cards and Thank You greeting cards that we were made to send.

Over the years, no matter what we did, if we were to show our appreciation and stay in touch with friends, our relationship somehow blossomed. The same can be said for businesses as well.

The more we keep in touch with our customers and clients on a regular basis, the more we show our gratitude and appreciation for the support given to us, the more our customers and clients kept us in their minds which led to more orders and eventually more business and better deals.

Here are two testimonials that I would like to share regarding sending thank you greeting cards.

1. Sent a thank you greeting card to a beautiful resort that we had the good fortune to stay in.

As we had such a memorable experience at the resort, and because we felt that two of the staff there really excelled in their hospitality, we decided to write a thank you card to the management of the resort to commend them for a wonderful team.

To emphasize our great sense of satisfaction with the resort, we also mentioned that a friend of ours had immediately booked a room at the resort after hearing of our experiences.

Upon receiving the card, the management immediately sent us an email to acknowledge receipt of the card as well as thank us for our sincere appreciation of their services. In addition, they asked for the name of our friend who would be arriving the day after.

Upon checking with our friend upon his departure, our friend was thrilled to learn that he had been upgraded to the 2-bedroom villa that cost more than double the price of what he had paid!

WOW! That was so unexpected and such a sweet surprise for our friend.

2. Sent a thank you greeting card to the facilitator of The Secret, a movie that we were watching during a group gathering.

During the session, I had a chat with the facilitator and she had asked me if I could customize certain products for her customers if she put in an order with me. She then told me that she would pass me the order soon.

Even after sending her information on the products, there were no orders forthcoming in the next few days.

One day, she emailed me:
“THANK YOU very much for the beautiful thank you card you have sent.
I did not expect anyone to thank me as I wanted to contribute and give and support the event, what a pleasant surprise!
I fully appreciate your appreciation, thanks and kind thoughts!”

In addition to the above came two orders for my product in the same email. And she has gone on to become one of my regular customers.

What we give, comes back to us tenfold. A simple gesture of appreciation, making someone feel special through thank you greeting cards is something that can bring your business to the next level.
