4.  Positioning marketing

Position yourself as an expert and a leader.  Share your experiences and educate your prospects so that they can duplicate your success.  Again, it is critical that you see yourself as a leader so that others may se you as a leader as well.  Focus on inspiring other people.

There are a few ways to position yourself as a leader:-

-         interview experts in your field

-         if you have the opportunity, snap pictures with top earners

-         post valuable information on your blogs

-         share your experiences on video

-         write unbiased reviews of other network marketing companies or MLM businesses

-         submit articles to article directories and authority sites

5.  Use a funded proposal system

A funded proposal is the way to generate income from prospects even if they do not join your business. With the use of a funded proposal, you can sell inexpensive but useful and valuable information to your prospects on the front end to generate cashflow whilst back-ending your prospects into your product or business opportunity.

This is the only way you should be marketing your business where you provide solutions that will allow your prospects to get their problems solved.  This allows you to generate cashflow which will keep you in the game and at the same time create a continuous flow of leads.

If you are truly serious about building a successful business, you have to spend focused time every single day in developing yourself.  Emulate the experts. Spend time with the millionaires by listening to their CDs, watching their DVDs, reading their books, etc…

If you are 100% serious in becoming a professional in your field, you need to stop spending your precious time on non-productive activities like watching television or listening to your favourite rock music.

Change yourself and be the leader that others are looking for.

7.  Always be marketing and prospecting

How important is marketing and prospecting for leads?  Marketing and lead prospecting are vital to your success.  This is one of the main reasons why 95% of network marketers fail.  Many join the network marketing business forgetting that marketing is part of the game.  Without marketing, you are lost in the deep blue sea.  Marketing is the pulse of your business.  You need to understand how to market and utilize as many marketing techniques as possible.  Do not just rely on one single strategy.  You need to cast more hooks into the ocean if you are looking to catch more fish.

Increase your presence on some of the most trafficked websites such as Google, Yahoo, YouTube, FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc…  At the same time, do take note that different people respond to different strokes.  Some people prefer reading your articles, others prefer the personal touch of a phone call, yet others prefer meeting up face-to-face.  Don’t limit yourself when it comes to marketing.  Learn to market and prospect for leads and separate yourself from the peddlers.  Once you understand how to market, you can market any product, service or business.
