Positioning Marketing In Network Marketing Today

According to Wikipedia, positioning marketing is the process by which marketers try to create and image or identity in the minds of their target market for its product, brand, or organization. It is the ‘relative competitive comparison’ their product occupies in a given market as perceived by the target market. In this article, I would also like to cover image branding as part of positioning marketing especially in network marketing today.
We know that positioning is the perception that your customers, leads and prospects have in their minds. It can be of you, your company, your products or your services, depending on what you are branding. It is the image that they hold in their minds of you as compared to the image they have of your competitors.
Positioning marketing is a process that focuses on conveying value to those in your target market. I would like to touch on positioning yourself in the market place, that is, creating a brand image of yourself so that you stand out from the crowd.
Why would anyone want to buy from you? What value do you have to offer to your leads, prospects and customers? How are you enhancing their lives? How can you help others? What value are you creating for them? What is in it for them? How are you different from others?
Especially so today, network marketing is a people business. The more you know the people, the more you understand them and what makes them tick, the more you build the relationship with them, the more likely they will end up being your customers.
If you are looking at making it big in your network marketing business, you have to be able to convey leadership qualities and have a high level of personal value.
You need to brand yourself as a leader. Do not position yourself as a sales person. Instead, position yourself as an expert to your target market. As someone who is able to provide solutions to those who are actively looking for what you have. By doing so, you will be applying the principles of magnetic sponsoring, also known as attraction marketing.
By going through certain processes, you will be able to positively influence the perceptions of your target market. You need to remember that you have to turn on the physiological triggers that will magnetize you.
Basically, people do not join a business. They join the business because of you. They believe in you and trust you. You are the magnet. They are drawn to you by your confidence, your energy and the value you provide.
Be ready to give, give and give. There is no short cut to this. Provide value and be a resource. Become the centre of influence. Build your personal brand. Create an image for yourself where you are the leader, the professional, the expert in your field, the ‘guru’. In essence, become someone of value.
When you follow the steps outlined above for positioning marketing and branding your image, you will be able to attract a continuous stream of free leads for your network marketing business opportunity today.
