The past month and a half has flown past and it has been an exciting journey for me.  There have been many home-based business opportunities opening up and I am now finally set on three main businesses for the time being, with another one or two more in the pipeline.

All along, I have been aware that multiple sources of income is the way to succeed.  You may have many small businesses and if each of them is able to bring in a good income for you, you are set for life.  The current economic recession will not impact you greatly.  Whilst others are worried about the loss of their job, this is the time that you can rejoice as you do not face the same fears.  Instead, it can actually be a blessing in disguise if you have already started building your online home-based businesses.  Do not wait any longer.  The time is here and now to start off your businesses.

So what business should you be starting off with?  Well, there are a few in the market including internet marketing and network marketing.  On a personal basis, I am more comfortable with network marketing and is happy with the residual income which plays a big part in my life.

Why Network Marketing?

According to Donald Trump, marketing is a powerful tool, and network marketing can increase that power, provided you are self-motivated.  In a simple visiaul, see a product and remove the advertising agency from it.  It is up to you to do the marketing and advertising.  That is a big job, but it can be done if you are passionate enough to get going on your own, and to keep the momentum and motivation going at a high level.  It requires an entrepreneurial spirit, and that means focus and perseverance. 

Robert Kiyosaki mentions that network marketing is the industry for people who want to change their lives.  After opening his closed mind, Robert Koyasaki could finally see some of the unique benefits the network marketing industry offers people who want more out of their lives. 

Network marketing is for people who are highly self-motivated and out to make a difference in their lives.  It is definitely a viable and rewarding source of income.  The sky is the limit if you have it in you to make it work for you.  In addition, you will need genuine enthusiasm which when combined with the right product and the right timing goes a long way in helping you succeed.
