Just received this in my email inbox and would like to share with
each and everyone of you.

The world needs a lot more thoughtfulness and a lot more kindness.
Always be compassionate.
Ask “What has that person gone through such that he/she has to
appear and react the way he/she did?” I know it is not the easiest
thing to do but I believe with practice it gets easier.

Bill worked in a factory on a production line, he was a big,
awkward, homely guy. He dressed oddly with ill-fitting clothes.
There were several fellow workers who thought it smart to make fun
of him.

One day one fellow worker noticed a small tear in his shirt and
gave it a small rip. Another worker in the factory added his bit,
and before long there was quite a ribbon of cloth dangling. Bill
went on about his work and as he passed too near a moving belt the
shirt strip was sucked into the machinery. In a split second the
sleeve and Bill was in trouble. Alarms were sounded, switches
pulled, and trouble was avoided.

The foreman then summoned all the workers and related this story:

In my younger days I worked in a small factory. That’s when I first
met Mike. He was big and witty, was always making jokes, and
playing little pranks. Mike was a leader. Then there was Peter who
was a follower. He always went along with Mike. And then there was
a man named Murray. He was a little older than the rest of us -
quiet, harmless, apart. He always ate his lunch by himself.

He wore the same patched trousers for three years straight. He
never entered into the games we played at noon, wrestling,
horseshoes and such. He appeared to be indifferent, always sitting
quietly alone under a tree instead. Murray was a natural target for
practical jokes.

He might find a live frog in his lunch box, or a dead spider in his
hat. But he always took it in good humour. Then one autumn, when
things were quiet in the factory, Mike took off a few days to go
hunting. Peter went along, of course. And they promised all of us
that if they got anything they’d bring us each a piece.

So we were all quite excited when we heard that they’d returned and
that Mike had got a really big buck. We heard more than that. Peter
could never keep anything to himself, and it leaked out that they
had real whopper to play on Murray. Mike had cut up the buck and
had made a nice package for each of us. And, for the laugh, for the
joke of it, he had saved the ears, the tail, the hoofs – it would
be so funny when Murray unwrapped them.

Mike distributed his packages during the lunch break. We each got a
nice piece, opened it, and thanked him. The biggest package of all
he saved until last. It was for Murray. Peter was all but bursting;
and Mike looked very smug. Like always, Murray sat by himself; he
was on the far side of the big table. Mike pushed the package over
to where he could reach it; and we all sat and waited.

Murray was never one to say much. You might never know that he was
around for all the talking he did. In three years he’d never said
more than hundred words. So we were all quite astounded with what
happened next. He took the package firmly in his grip and rose
slowly to his feet. He smiled broadly at Mike – and it was then we
noticed that his eyes were glistening. His Adam’s apple bobbed up
and down for a moment and then he got control of himself.

‘I knew you wouldn’t forget me,’ he said gratefully, ‘I knew you’d
come through! You’re big and you’re playful, but I knew all along
that you had a good heart.’

He swallowed again, and then took in the rest of us. ‘I know I
haven’t seemed too chummy with you men; but I never meant to be
rude. You see, I’ve got nine kids at home – and a wife that’s been
an invalid – bedridden now for four years. She ain’t ever going to
get any better. And sometimes when she’s real bad off, I have to
sit up all night to take care of her. And most of my wages have had
to go for doctors and medicine.

The kids do all they can to help out, but at times it’s been hard
to keep food in their mouths. Maybe you think it’s funny that I go
off by myself to eat my lunch. Well, I guess I’ve been a little
ashamed, because I don’t always have anything between my sandwich.
Or like today – maybe there’s only a raw turnip in my lunch box.
But I want you to know that this meat really means a lot to me.
Maybe more than to anybody here because tonight my kids’ … as he
wiped the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand …
‘tonight my kids will have a really good meal.’

He tugged at the string. We’d been watching Murray so intently we
hadn’t paid much notice to Mike and Peter. But we all noticed them
now, because they both tried to grab the package. But they were too
late. Murray had broken the wrapper and was already surveying his
present. He examined each hoof, each ear, and then he held up the
tail. It wiggled limply. It should have been so funny, but nobody
laughed – nobody at all.

But the hardest part was when Murray looked up and said ‘Thank you’
while trying to smile. Silently one by one each man moved forward
carrying his package and quietly placed it in front of Murray for
they had suddenly realised how little their own gift had really
meant to them, until now.

This was where the foreman left the story and the men. He didn’t
need to say any more; but it was gratifying to notice that as each
man ate his lunch that day, they shared part with Bill and one
fellow even took off his shirt and gave it to him.

Millionaire question #2:-  Do you have multiple streams of income?  In his book “Multiple Streams of Income”, Robert Allen covers ten streams of income which include investments in the stock market, buying and selling of options, investing in real estate, internet marketing, network marketing, infopreneuring and licensing amongst others.

Millionaire question #3:-  Do you earn money while you sleep?  Ultimately this is what you would aim for.  Earning passive residual income would be income that is earned with little effort required to maintain it.  Examples would include royalties and dividends.

Millionaire question #4:-  Do you have the right mentor?  As in any business, if you wish to be successful and increase your learning curve, you would do well to find someone who is a success in the field of your choice and pay them to teach you how to do it.  This will be money well spent.

Millionaire question #5:-  Are you using proven systems?  System is an acronym for “Saving YourSelf Time, Effort and Money”.  When you do not have any system, you will get nowhere.  It is not necessary for you to re-invent the wheel.  Make use of proven systems that have worked for others.  This will help you reach success faster.

Millionaire question #6:-  Do you have your million dollar idea?  Here, Robert G Allen shared with us the secret of finding million dollar ideas via Google.  When you do a search on Google, instead of going through just the first five pages, go to the bottom of Google to find your million-dollar idea.  Then you can negotiate for exclusive rights to the product or service and start to market it.

Millionaire question #7:-  Last but not least, do you have the courage to act?  You cannot expect to succeed without taking action.  As Johann Wolfgang von Goethe put it:-  Knowing is not enough; we must apply.  Willing is not enough; we must do.

I was privileged to be able to attend the National Achievers Congress (NAC) Singapore 2010 last week.  Held at the Singapore Expo from 27th – 29th April, Mr Tony Blair, Prime Minister of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland 1997 – 2007 was the keynote speaker.  Mr Tony Blair’s presence together with other renowned and distinguished speakers from around the world inspired some 3500 participants who attended the event.

3.  Being filled in on things.  Human beings have an innate need to be part of the group, to belong and to be treasured.  Just as in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, they want to feel that they belong to a group and that they are part of something even bigger.  They do not want to feel left out.  The more left out they feel, the more they tend to add to the network marketing attrition rate

2.  Friendly associates.  As per Maslow’s hierarchy, human beings need to feel love and have esteem needs.  Satisfying these needs helps in building teamwork as well and the best MLM companies have leaders who are able to bond their organization. This goes a long way in keeping the representatives happy and fulfilled.

1.  Appreciation and recognition of effort.  Another name for network marketing or MLM is relationship marketing.  This, in essence, summarises the key factor attributing to the network marketing attrition rate i.e. lack of relationship building.

It has been shown that people want to be recognized for a job well done. Only master prospectors have mastered the art of closing the sales when prospecting leads.  Here are some MLM tips you need in order to be like the master prospector who is able to design his/her lifestyle and income bracket.  There are three basic skills you need to acquire:-  asking, listening and receiving.

Before you even start talking to your prospects, you should not create anxiety.  Many people have the habit of pre-judging the situation and attracting that particular situation to them.  Then they start wondering why it even occurred when in the first place, it all happened in their minds and started the wave of energy vibrations that attracted the situation.

If you wish to master the art of prospecting, you have to first of all, be in a grounded state of consciousness.  Avoid creating your own rejections even before you come across any objections. The more rejections you create for yourself, the harder it will be for you to master the art of prospecting leads.  Your prospects will not reject you.  They may pre-judge or bring up an objection.

As Jeffrey Combs, master marketer, puts it in his MLM tips for prospecting leads:- Selling is a very easy profession to master but first you must master your emotions.

Clear your mind of all emotional chatter.  Release the tensions.  Let go of the stress.  Fill your being with peace & love.  Once you are back to a grounded state of consciousness, you are one step closer to becoming an exceptional sales professional.

If you find that your mind frick keeps getting in the way, stop the drama.  Focus on what’s important.  Change your story.  Instead of saying “I can’t connect with people”, change it to “I am a great and fantastic connector.”

If you are looking at designing your own life and being like the master marketers who earn 6 – 7 figure income and living the lifestyle that you can only dream of now, learn from them.  Ask bigger and better questions so that you can connect better with your prospects.  The first thirty seconds are most crucial.  The saying that “first impression counts” rings true in this case as most sales are created within the first three minutes based on how well you can connect with your prospects.

Whether you have an MLM blog or a blog on dog training or any other blogs for that mater, the main purpose of your blog is to pull readers to your site.  The key to doing that is to be able to write persuasive blog content.  Imagine your blog as a story book.  The more interesting and exciting the story, the more it will sell. Same goes for your blog. The more interesting and valuable your blog content, the more readers you will attract.

Here are seven easy steps to writing persuasive blog content which have been adapted from Mike Dillard’s Traffic Formula 2.

  1. Don’t teach too hard.  This is a big mistake which will earn you lots of fans, but few customers.  There are tons of information seekers on the internet and most are just looking for freebies.  What you are looking for are the serious buyers.  Your main objective is to give value in your blog content.  Telling your readers ‘what to do’ is great.  You are already providing true value.  You do not need to tell them ‘how to do’ it.  Those interested enough to find out more are going to get in touch with you or subscribe to your newsletters fro more information.
  2. Write like you talk.  It is always easier to write your blog content the way you would talk.  This not only makes you more ‘real’ to your readers, but they can connect with you better as well.  Would you not prefer to connect with a real person?  All you need to do is to mind your language and avoid anything that you would not say in front of your grandmother.  It is good to include your own unique phrases.
  3. Tell stories.  Just like an author, when you write your blog content, this is the time for you to become the great story teller.  Not only do people love hearing stories, they remember them better.  Telling your very own personal true story and life experiences can be compelling for your readers. This aids in creating the connection with your readers and is a wonderful way for your stories to go viral.
  4. Inspire all you can.  Everyone loves some inspiration. When people come across great inspirational stories, they tend to share it with others. This helps in creating viral content for you.  Inspiring stories not only allow people to feel good about themselves and you, they also often do a better job of selling even if they are not meant to be ‘salesy’.  Inspiring stories tend to push people into taking action.
  5. Question and Answer.  You can always compile questions from forums and comments and answer them as part of your blog content.  This can garner a big following and they do not look like advertisements.  More and more blog owners and advertisers are using this question and answer technique.
  6. Checklists.  Compiling a list of resources more often than not turns out to be free viral marketing for the blog owner.  This is especially great if you have a business blog such as one for your MLM business or hobby.  Checklist such as 100 Easy Ways to Lose Weight or 50 Resume Writing Tips creates curiosity and interest in your post.
  7. Controversy.  This definitely will attract attention.  Of course, those who agree with you will tend to connect with you better.  Writing on controversy makes you tend to stick out which is why most people shy away from it.  However, this can be easy if you just pick something that is controversial and state your opinion.  There is no right or wrong and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

The key to writing great blog content is to be yourself.  Do not try to be someone whom you are not.  Being conversational and interesting will increase your readership.  At the same time, you can make a natural call to action especially for your business blog or MLM blog.

For many who have come across and joined various network marketing opportunities and network marketing companies, the majority have asked the million dollar question: – How to achieve network marketing success?   Here are some MLM tips to follow.

First and foremost, always know your ‘why’.  Why are you into network marketing?  What is it that you wish to achieve out of your network marketing opportunities?  Is your ‘why’ huge enough for you to action upon?

Prospecting is critical to your success in network marketing.  No matter which opportunities you have joined or which companies you are marketing, constantly connecting and collaborating with your prospects can put you on the road to success.

A major reason that a great number of people do not see any success in network marketing, no matter which companies they are in, is due to the fact that they do not know how to sell.  Put yourself into the shoes of your prospect.  Learn to ask better questions.  The bigger your questions, the better your results are going to become.

Learn to connect with your prospect.  Ask questions from a relaxed state.  Never use any hard selling techniques and do not turn the session into an interrogation.  This will immediately turn your prospects off.

At the same time, remember to be in a mindset for success even before you connect with your prospect.  If you have not read the book The Science of Getting Rich, I recommend that you do so immediately.  This can greatly help you on your path to success.

If you are already in the ‘NFL’ league, i.e. No Friends Left and No Funds Left, do not fret.  More and more are now turning to internet network marketing to learn how to generate targeted and exclusive leads for their MLM businesses.  The internet is one of the best things to be discovered, especially for network marketers.

When you master the art of generating exclusive leads via the internet, you will love it all the more.  Some of the methods are free and some are paid.  You decide which is best for you.   There are no right or wrong methods.

One of the best tips, in my opinion, that I would love to share with you is to find a system and work with it.  A system can ‘say yourself time, energy and money’.  As such, when you get the correct system and have it properly set up and running, life will be a breeze.

At the same time, do not give up.  As Thomas Edison puts it, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up.  The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”  This comes from the mouth of the man who failed more than 1,000 times when trying to create the light bulb.
